His lyrics are straightforward, down-to-earth, and honest, delivered with a vocal tone and forcefulness that recalls a slightly more relaxed Ice Cube.

This album also draws in the market of Ski Beatz, the legendary hip hop producer [Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt (1996)], who produced most of this album.
